Messi Is Not Retiring From Club Football
Importantly, this is not retirement from football altogether.

In fact, just before announcing his Argentina retirement, Messi produced another incredible performance for Inter Miami. He scored four goals and provided an assist as Miami defeated CF Montréal 7–1. MLS subsequently named him Player of the Matchday for the performance.
That means fans can still watch Messi create magic on the pitch, even though his days wearing the Argentina shirt are over.
A Legacy That Cannot Be Repeated Easily
Messi’s international career is a story of perseverance.
He went from being heavily criticized for not winning with Argentina to becoming the captain who delivered the biggest trophies the country had been waiting for.
